Mini Hike aka Wheel Trial Class

Service Description

This mini class is the perfect way to introduce yourself to clay; learn and explore on the potter's wheel while enjoying your favorite beverage! (*This event is BYOB) The instructor will demo and then you will get a chance to give it a try with 4- 1lb balls of clay. Number of participants is set to 4. If you have more than 4, please message us to register extras. Max is 6 people. You will just rotate out time on the wheel if your party has more than 3 people. Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? Attendees must be at least 16 years of age or older to attend, and attendees under 21 are not permitted to bring/consume alcohol. What's the refund policy? Refunds can be issued if proper notice is given at least 48 hours prior to the event. What should I bring? You should come with any food or beverages you’d like to enjoy during your workshop, as well as any utensils, glasses, plates, etc. that your treats require. The Clay Trail does not provide any of these items and is not responsible for clean-up. What should I wear? Don’t wear any loose clothing, scarves, or long jewelry. Long hair should be tied back and no rings or bracelets should be worn, as they can fall off or get ruined. All clay washes out of clothing, but wear clothing you care about at your own risk. Do I get to glaze? The class comes with your items being glazed by the instructor. If you would like to learn to glaze it is $15 on another day once your pieces have been through a bisque firing. This will be a mini lesson to show you how to use our glazes. We have dip glazes at the moment.
