Service Description
Clay Excursion Looking for a fun way to experience the many sides of pottery? The Clay Excursion gives you the chance to try it all! ✨ Week 1 – The Wheel Sit down at the pottery wheel and give it a spin! You’ll use part of your 12.5 lbs of clay to try making a bowl and a cup while learning the basics of wheel throwing. ✨ Week 2 – Hand Building Explore the traditional techniques of pinch pots, coils, and slabs with the slab roller. We’ll guide you through one or two projects designed to show you how versatile hand building can be. ✨ Final Visit – Glazing Once your pieces are dried and bisque-fired, you’ll return to bring them to life with color! You’ll learn how to use both dippable and brush-on glazes to finish your pottery. By the end, you’ll have a collection of handmade pieces and a hands-on introduction to the full pottery process!

Cancellation Policy
Class cancelations- To cancel a class please give 48 hour notice before the class to receive full refund. After 48 hours you will receive a partial refund with $25 taken out for my instructor's time. Membership cancelations- If you will not be continuing into the new month please give me a week notice. I will then be able to cancel your recurring payments. If you paid for the month but would like to cancel, please email theclaytrail@gmail.com with the details of leaving. Depending on the time of the month you are leaving will depend on refund.
