Empty Bowls Workshop

Join in the fun by signing up for a double workshop to make a bowl for Empty Bowls, supporting the Ruff’ton Roots community garden. Get your hands dirty crafting your bowl on June 1st and return on June 29th to add some glazing magic!

June 1st you will be creating a slab bowl with the instructions of Britney and Lisa. 

June 29th you will come back to glaze your own piece.

Will I get to keep my bowl? No, they will be donated to the Ruff'ton Roots Empty Bowls dinner event in November.

What is Empty Bowls? 

Empty Bowls is a grassroots movement by artists and crafts people in cities and towns around the world to raise money for food related charities to care for and feed the hungry in their communities.

Our local Empty Bowls will be in support of Ruff'ton Roots. They will be putting on a dinner in November. The dinner ticket will also come with an Empty Bowl to represent hunger in this community. We would love for you to join us at the dinner when tickets go on sale. You may even be able to pick out your own bowl!

Please note this is a 16 and up event with no experience needed.
